The goal of the Moose Jaw Woodcrafters Guild is to provide a place for woodworkers of all interests and skills to come together to share and learn about working with wood.
The club was formed in 2002 and from that beginning the club has grown to include all interests of woodworking and people of all walks of life.
Monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, at 7:00PM (doors open 6:30) in the Home Economics Lab. at Riverview Collegiate in Moose Jaw. Meetings are scheduled in September thru to May, with the club taking a break in the summer months.
Each year the club, in association with the Regina Whittlers and Carvers Club, hosts an annual show. The first one was held in April of 2004 in the Moose Jaw Cultural Center. 2005 show was held in May at the Tartan Club in Regina. The show in 2006 was held in Moose Jaw at the Exhibition Grounds, April 29 & 30.
